WHAT IS PROJECT 2ND CHANCE?

Project 2nd Chance is a program for youth who are first time offenders who have admitted to a minor offense and agreed to participate in the program.

Project 2nd Chance uses the model of restorative justice diversion which encourages constructive, community-based responses to wrongdoing.

The process brings together those who caused harm, those who have been harmed, and impacted community members to promote healing and accountability, while rebuilding relationships.

Our RJD programs are post-arrest but pre-charge, meaning that the young person who committed harm has been arrested but not yet charged with a crime.

For more information about these programs, or if you would like to ask about registering or volunteering for one, please get in touch with us.
